Can anyone recommend a decent engine rebuild company. Looking to purchase a rebuilt 1098 in my saloon.

Thanks

Kevin

Your location would help as I presume you want a reasonably local place.

Lincolnshire I'm afraid, usually a long way from anywhere of any significance

There's a specialist Austin restorer that I know in Boston. He doesn't do engines but would know someone that does in your area. I could put you in touch?

I had my 948 rebuilt by a company in Stockport - Quasar Engineering. I was impressed with the process, which included a look around the workshop.

You wouldn't do better than SMMC (Southam Mini & Metro Centre) in Southam Warwickshire. Very good reputation for rebuilding "A" Series engines.
