Sitting at lights this morning, the moron in the next lane one car ahead, wound the window down and threw a banana skin out.

Born slippy, perhaps? Could have been worse - at least it's biodegradeable, unlike most of the litter that gets discarded.

True but I can't see those individuals differentiating between types of litter.

Take the VRM and tell plod, they should pass it to the local council who will do absolutely sod all, but it will be fun watching them trying to justify their inactivity.
