Trafficator switch wiring

Hi,
I have just got my Trafficators working on a replacement Lucas switch, as per the diagram picture below. I have used the black switch in the other picture for my indicators and the red light is wired to the flasher can, so it flashes when the indicators are on, as a visual reminder for me to switch them off.
However the Trafficators don't work via a flasher can. To get them to flash in the modern way, so that modern motorists might have an inkling of what they mean, I have fitted 'flashicator' LEDs and very good they are too.
However if I try to link the waring light into the Trafficators, the live feed then jumps straight through to the other side and I end up with both Trafficators working at the same time. (Slightly confusing for drivers behind me or instant Hazard Trafficators?? :P)
Anyway, I was wondering if there was a non-return diode (or something) out there, which I could fit in line with each wire going to the warning light on the Trafficator switch, to prevent it back flowing to the other side??
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Best wishes,
Mike.
