Could one of the gurus tell me which years and models had the "open cap slowly" stencil next to the radiator?
Thanks!
What years and models had the "open cap slowly" stencil?

Re: What years and models had the "open cap slowly" stencil?
By no means a guru but my '57 saloon had a very faded stencil on it when i bought it in 1978. Looking at Ray Newell's book it is not clear as most of the photos of engine bays do not show the stencil.
I think the MM had a bigger radiator header tank and no fan blade shelf for the stencil to go on.
The Series II / III photos show the shelf just black. There is a photo of a post 63 minor with the stencil. None of the photo's of the LCV's in various guises seems too show the stencil. I have seen them in various fonts.
Anyone know more ?
