Well, the above arrived recently and today decided to fit them, after stripping the drivers door down, realised that they are fixed by 5 spring clips...which can be accessed from above,ho hum, refitted with the remaining 4 clips , the fifth either went into the door or disappeared on the garage floor.
Mirror, torch, magnet and endoscope couldn't find it.
Now how does one do the rears...the glass doesn't go down enough to allow access?
Help?
John
P.S. ESM still amaze me with the speed of their deliveries.

you have to drop the glass into the door as far as possible remove the winder mech and lower stop if still fitted , a real ''nice ''

job to do, makes the front look easy

Thanks Martin, the front was easy after doing the first one,,,,while I'm at it,managed to disconnect/move the winder mechanism in the front but it seems that it cannot be removed from inside the door...is there a secret?

The rears were easier than the fronts, just like you said, winder out, lower stop out and trim/fit weatherseal, all back in now ready for the Manchester weather....this time only lost one spring fitting..are these available from ESM....waiting for their catalogue.
