Hi fellow morris people. The time has come for me to replace the rubber boot on the stop lights on my van. My question is this, if I have connectors at the lamp holder end of the wiring and bullets somewhere back along the loom, how do I get them though the tiny holes in the end of the rubber boot..I am not much good with the soldering iron.

As I recall, with a bit of persuasion and washing up liquid, the bullets on the end of the leads will push through the new boot or gaiter

Not sure what van rubber gaskets look like, but I have just done one on my saloon. I used a pair of circlip pliers to extend the rubber over the connectors, worked for me.

Not done this job but I suspect that ample lubrication may be answer. As in life generally...

It's usual for the wires that go to the bulb holders to have a split bullet fitted to each of the 3 wires. The bullets are in effect, fitted to the wires after these wires are passed through the rubber boot, the wires are then passed into the bullets and out the top where they are doubled over and then pushed into the bulb holder connections. No soldering is required.
