TIE ROD NUT

Can I fit a nyloc nut to the front of the tie rod,and if so who stocks them as I can`t see them on ESM,Bull Motif etc..

You could, but why? They take castle nuts with cotterpins passing through the small holes in the fore end.

Do you mean the lock nut that sits against the track rod end, or the nut securing the track rod end to the steering arm.

It is perfectly acceptable to replace the castellated nut (Pt No: AJD84062 (MOSS)) on the front of the tie rod with a Nylock nut.
I used a nylock nut on the front of the tie rod for very many years until I replaced the tie rod bushes with a Mini tie rod and spherical joint kit but that is another story.
The split pin is so small a diameter to be next to useless and over time invariably rusts away.

I should have read that better, got my track rods and tie rods mixed up !, nasty.....
