Has anyone any experience of tracking down their dealer from which their Morris came. The British Motor Industry Hearitahe chaps can supply (for a fee) the Garage Details .

It is unlikely that the Garage is still in existence though as I found out with King and Harper in Cambridge, who, it seems did all makes of cars and someone on the Standard Car Club forum from some years ago mentioned he had the original on his car. I am waiting to hear from him.

There is a nice 1950's Lambretta dealer sticker which has been reproduced and I believe that it would hav

e been similar to the Morris one as it carries the generic King and Harper logo. I may be able to bastardise this with a Morris logo.

Does anyone have knowledge of a supplier of dealership stickers which may be of use to MMOC members wishing to add finishing touches ?

Hi, I'd be very interested if you find a sticker for King and Harper Cambridge too - my car came from there too :D
If I find anything I'll let you know too.

I have cheated and blanked out the scooter specialists with a gold gel pen. It looks really good under the bonnet.

What year is yours? If you pm me with an e mail address I will copy you the Cambridge Daily News articles for Oct 56 when K&H started selling the 'new' Minor 1000.

There is some interesting film footage of KH in later 40's early 50's I think that sold everything from fridges to lorries. No trace in any archives I can find about what happened to the firm !
