Hi, within a very short space of time several electrical items have failed; wipers, indicators and fuel gauge. We have changed all the fuses and voltage regulator. The indicators worked for a very short period before stopping again. Any help gratefully received in what to look at next to solve these problems. TIA

Was there a blown fuse? Are they all supplied through one fuse? Changing a fuse is pointless if there is a fault to earth - the fuse will blow again. Voltage regulator (the voltage stabiliser) is nothing to do with your several problems at once if it is a single problem. 'Short space of time' - how long or short?
You need a test lamp or voltmeter to find at what point the current restriction occurs. Cheap digital multimeters are usually sufficient to trace problems through the wiring system. Check voltage at points along the wiring by checking volts to earth. Fault is usually at or upstream from a low voltage reading.

A little bit of fine emery cloth is your friend....take out the fuses and clean the end caps till they look like metal, the same with the fuse holders...

The systems you mention are all through one fuse, as above clean everything up, and pinch the fuse holders together to make they are holding the fuses tight.
