Throttle cable linkage hit carburettor

Has anyone got a photo of the throttle cable linkage to a hif carb I am struggling to get a smooth accelerator pedal , is there an additional return spring attachached to the carb . Your help would be appreciated
By the way it is a1275 engine

The HIF carb has a built in return spring (see photo). You do not need the external spring as used with the standard carb. There is normally an abutment plate between the manifold and the carb for the throttle linkage (black cable -left on photo). What you see in the photo is a "el cheapo" DIY version.

The abutment bracket is part no CAM4942.
On offer at the moment:

The plastic insert which fits on the abutment plate is part of the throttle cable

I don't know the length but I would ask prior to purchasing.
You can see the plastic part on the abutment plate in the first photo or another DIY version in the second photo.
