Master Cylinder

Rooting around the back of the garage I found an old master cylinder which I removed from a scrapped car 17 years ago (and it was working fine then). Is it worth even keeping, as I wouldn't want to fit it now as a replacement, given its so old? I suppose it could be refurbished?

The condition of the M/C bore is the most important factor so there is no harm in stripping it down and checking its not pitted or rusted. The seals will no doubt be perished so a new set will be needed.
Have a look inside! :D
