Attaching a towrope

Where best to attach a single emergency towrope for a short distance .... best suggestion appears to be front tierod/s so far.

Yes, the tie rods, snugly against the front bushes. Best idea is to have a line from each side that come together to a single point and then to central towbar on the towing vehicle - this avoids any sideways pull. Make sure that the rope(s) do not snag the number plate (might be necessary to rmeove it).
