Hi all I have just fitted the new conversion alternator from ESM and the fan belt did not fit I needed to make a larger adjusting bracket (about 3" longer) then last night I had a thought could the kit I got from ESM have the wrong belt included the part number is 10A0925C, thinking about it I should not have needed to make any brackets has anyone else fitted one of these.
Thanks Rich

The kit should come with the right belt, give them a ring and explain and I'm sure they will sort it out.

The belt on my alternator is 838mm. I don't know if it came from ESM though as it was on the car when I bought it. I also think they might have sent you the wrong (925mm) belt.

I got my Alternator kit from them too and it came supplied with the pulley and belt to match. Unfortunately I am not in a position to go and have a look at what size it is

Mine are standard 1098 engines with alternators and all use the 813 belt. My notes says that the dynamo uses 825. You should not have to make any additional parts, the kit is complete.
