As the thread title stats, would this be the correct brake pipe for the front of my 1970 minor?

NO. Avoid copper pipes they can brake (pun) after a while. You want Nikasil brake pipes which is made of a mix of copper and nickel. They are a little harder than straight copper but still bend OK and will last for years as they don't rust or corrode.

look for kunifer brake pipes, often told they are best

Minijojo is correct I had a senior moment and called them Nikasil, what I meant was Kunifer

I see, does anyone know where I could pick these up. I need two front brake pipes, and need 3/8 UNF on them.

I don't think Nikasil is to do with brake tubing at all - it is a nickel silicon plating that is applied to a metal surface and then often finished by grinding or honing.

Brake tubing is cupro-nickel, an alloy of copper and nickel that goes under the trade name of 'Kunifer'. Kunifer brake pipe is usually supplied in 25ft coils that need to be cut to length with the end flares making to suit the relevant fitting (BSF/UNF/Metric), i.e. single or double flare. Unlike 'pure' copper that work hardens and really is not suitable for brake pipes, despite being widely available, Kunifer will in effect last for ever. The previous link is to a ready made set of pipes for a Minor that should save a lot of trouble.

It's interesting that the copper/nickel versions of most of the pipes are no more expensive than the copper.
