Horn Push.....Further and images

With reference to my previous post regarding the issue with connecting the correct horn push to the banjo steering wheel on my 71 Morris. The attached images show the wheel in place and the two horn pushes. The issue is how to connect the early horn push so that it activates the horn. You can see that there is a wire from the column centre, this was connected to the original push via a self tap screw into the centre. Its obvious that a spring has to be employed in order to return the horn push after connection is made. This is the issue i.e how does my husband connect everything up so that the push works??

You're missing a bit, there should be an insulated spring loaded contact. You're not the first.
