Hello.

I'm hoping to get a bit of info here. I've got hockey sticks to put back on my 70" Minor 1000. However, the bolts sheered off, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of where to pick up some new ones. Hope someone can help.

Thanks,

The studs are 2ba but the main difficulty will be getting the broken pieces out. I drill right through and use 6mm stainless bolts with domed nuts on the outside. The thread is then not under the wing so it can be taken apart easily in future if needed. It all depends how particular you are about originality.

And when you reassemble them use some copper slip on the threads.

Hi,
I had a similar problem and agree with first reply, they are 2BA. If you are fortunate enough to find 2BA stainless (for originality) or use M6 (although M5 is closer in size) I fitted mine with a threadlock product (Loctite 270) to ensure the stud end was secure. Filing it flat, centre punching, piloting and drilling took a little time but I actually managed to 'tap' out the old stud - I'm sure this was luck!
