Heater mask fixing

Post by Leyland »

Hi everyone
Can someone advise please.
I have purchased a new parcel tray and heater mask and fitted the mask to the tray. The mask has a curved clip at the top which looks as if it should hang on something.

I have looked under where the heater is attached to the dash, but there doesn't appear to be anything to clip the mask to!

Do I Need to make a bracket or wire attached to the two self tapping screws that hold the front of the heater to the dash. Whatever was there originally has gone since the respray.
Any help appreciated.

Can you just confirm the year of the car - I'm guessing that you're referring to the early round heater in a pre-63 car?

Hi

My traveller has this I think... There is some detail on the clip and fitting the masking kit in section ss.5 of the workshop manual..(PG SS.8 )
