Just seen the beetle conversion. Not sure whether it should go here as it would be replacing the ICE, in electrical 'cos of the battery and motor, or general. So I put it here. Any thoughts? Need another g/box and back axle, I suppose.....

Edited to add that perhaps it is not quite the right time for a conversion. A self fitting kit, without motor mounting bracket to gear box and battery containers was quoted as £18k!!! Perhaps prices might drop to sensible levels in a couple or three years!
