hi all
dose anyone out there reconise this old gril .
she s an 1966 traveller was green,
came from essex before had it was in chemsford essex
last tax on her is from 1997
i would like to know more info on her as i dont know much other than a frend picked her up in chemsford were she was sitting for years between two garages .
but soon with a little more work she will be back for another mot as the moter reconed the welding went up to much and sead i should scrap her (ill scrap him ) he dont like moggys but thats his problem

she has now passed the mot at a diffrent garage had to do a new weld on front chassie leg as it was a little weak so new plate on it and straight throw ,thats with him have a long hard look under neath .
no new problem draining battier brand new batt neg earth light gose out on dynamo (could be the problem changing to alternater ) try to use crank handle but cant as it turns but the kick back is very strong could take you hand off is that normal or is it just good compession

Congrats on the MOT, don't know what engine you have... is it a high or low compression unit? If you don't know, look at the engine number it is 10ma-u-l for LOW and 10MA-U-H for high compression. Mind you, my first hand start caused me a sore arm too.

The DE in GDE indicates a Pembrokeshire registration, so she travelled a bit before ending up as an Essex Girl... :roll:
