I want my traveller to look correct by still using the trafficators,I am fitting a rear indicator lamp but I would like to have an indicator on the front. If I fitted headlights with a side light (integral) would it look right if I used the front side light as an indicator fitting an orange bulb, rather than fitting the more modern side and indicator?

You can fit a double filament bulb holder in the front, same as is used for the stop tail on the traveller. This will give you a white flashing indicator which is pretty bright as you use the brake light for the indactor, if that makes sense! I have this on a couple of my cars and its very effective.

I have a S11 traveller with semaphores.
I also fitted separate sidelights in the headlights, and use an orange bulb in the original side light, for indicators, which I think is very effective.
At the rear, I have fitted discrete LED strips inside the door glass, for indicators and brakelights, which also I think is very effective.

I am at S70. if you would like to meet up for you to have a look?

Thanks to all who post on here, a wealth of information, always an interesting read.

Regards Win
