A good book covering you engine should be on your shopping list, you will find it invaluable. Approach the rebuild methodically and an emphasis on cleanliness and check as you go. You need the book to give you clearances and torque settings etc. Good luck and look forward to hearing it start up.
Start a running documentary thread with pictures on here, we all like to follow them and you get feedback as you go along too

First you need to strip the engine to find out what parts you need - how do you know what size parts to buy until you do this? Or even if rings etc are worth fitting? And download the FREE Morris Minor Workshop Manual from Google . There are many threads on here by people who have rebuilt their engines - use the Search facility to find them. But start first with a good read through the Manual.

Den,
Where do you live? There might be someone just round the corner who would be able to help/advise.
