new vacuum and oil pressure gauge fitted
Well I've been a busy boy today, fitted a new vacuum advance[well I did have some or perhaps a lot of help from my brother in law] so completely serviced the relevant area in question, and now running sweeter than before [not that she wasn't running bad with a duff vacuum!].Timing spot on and dwell angle and points gap checked and cleaned. Then onto the oil pressure gauge which I've had ready to do for the last two years! So tee piece in and new pressure switch in and oil gauge fitted and showing 50 lbs. on tick over and 55 mid revs with the engine warmed up. Should I feel smug or what?

You must have the same oil pressure gauge that I have, had it two years but still not fitted it yet. One day

I also have a pair of inertia seat belts bought about five years ago ....still in the box! ...me thinks they won't work while they're in there!
but I'll get around to it one day .
