Hi,

I am in the reassembly stage with my traveller -at last! However as it has been so long I have forgotten quite how it should all work.

I have the main wooden beam between the arches, that the rear board support pieces screws to, in place. The rear seat brackets which screw to the waist rail (Anyone know the sizes of screws used?), and appropriate bolt mechanism.

Any pictures of your restorations would be greatly appreciated, I have tried scouring the forum to no avail!

Would you happen to have any of the lower half of the rear seat - how that attaches etc?
I'm guessing that it just screws into the main beam with its base?

'Scuse my ignorance!

This has been an education. I never realised until now that there was supposed to be a wooden seat base to which the rear seat is hinged. That explains a lot. I guess it was lost in the general butchery that went on before we managed to get the car back from Devon.

Ah well, so much for a university education.... and another job for the weekend.

Are the hinges the same size as the ones that secure the seat back to the load area floor?

The hinges are not the same, the first and second photo at beginning of post shows the seat back hinges and the last but one photo shows the seat base.

Not sure of the sizes and cannot check today, but if required I can check later this week, just let me know.
