I have a 1971 convertible and it needs a new hood. I live in Slough and could do with it being done locally. I recently had a quote from Chertsey for £900 which is extortionate, I can get it done for about £600 in Bristol but was hoping for something in the M25 area as it will be 2 trips, one to deliver it and one to pick it up. Does anyone know anyone who could do it for me. It needs some work doing to the back fixings as well which will i am told involve a bit of timber inside and some new fittings.
Any suggestions would be really helpful. Thank you x

Buy the hood from Don Hoods in Birmingham and have it fitted locally. Don have the pattern(s) for Moggies. This is the route I took for my MM hood and it worked well, see pictures on the MM section. I also had the rear sidescreens recovered and a new bag.
