Welcome aboard - the hole spacings are there in the floor for the seat brackets to screw in to. Sorry I don 't know them - but easy enough to measure surely. But I expect someone who does know will be along in a minute or two!

I cannot imagine why you need to have such a measurement quoted but as it happens I have the front seats out of my '68 Traveller at the Moment and the centre to centre measurement of the holes in the bracket is 57mm.

Excellent that is just what I needed. The reason for the query is that I live at the moment in Broome about 2400kms from perth where my morry is kept. I am moving the seats back and will need to make up new plates under the floor to fasten them. I was in Perth recently but forgot to get the details tks for the above Glenn :D

Wow - I'm 6'2" and found the seat position in the last set of holes just fine ! Are you using non-standard seats?

my car is a 1959 4 door the original seats were inneed of new covers , and the set I have now came up on gumtree as having been refurbished and a good job done. but they are from an early model and have more padding in the backs and bases. this puts you closer to the wheel hence my need to move back slightly. tks Glenn

I recently moved the seats on my MM back so that I had to drill another hole behind the existing, using the last proper hole for the front bolt. The only minor (sic) problem was needing a loose nut under the rear most bolt, my arms were just long enough to get the inner nut on, I'm 6ft 3! The reinforcing plate for the seat bolts is plenty long enough to take this fresh hole.
