can you tell me what is the best Distributor cap for DM2 Lucas distributes - i have Lucas Green box one - seem to be not quality
please what is the place for buy good distributor cap and what is the good brand - and please tell me can we buy the carbon pin and terminal screws - Please tell me place
How to remove the carbon pin of distributor Cap ?

Same cap as all Morris minors after 1953. Any cap will fit but some have leads going up and some come out sideways plus some are screw terminals and some are push-in. Google Morris Minor Distributor Cap. Probably all made in India/China now and shipped to the UK!

Remove middle carbon pin by carefully pulling it with your fingers. Small spring inside.

You can surely buy a cap locally Sandun - and there should be no need to disturb the centre carbon and spring.
