zetec conversion - 1.8 or 2.0 (blacktop)

Hi all,
I'm looking at an engine swap and am pretty decided on a blacktop zetec conversion. I'm going to buy a crate motor and looking on ebay the 1.8 blacktops are significantly cheaper than the 2.0 blacktops... (£600 vs £900)...
I'm really looking for economy and reliabilty rather than power, and i'm trying to do this on a budget of around £2000 or so, and I've done a fair bit of research, but nowhere can actually tell me if the block is the same in a 1.8 as in a 2.0 focus. I need to know really as i'll be purchasing mounts and things from JLH and it's all pretty useless if they're different engines? I'm guessing it's just a smaller bore in the 1.8?
Any info greatly received! Thanks :D
Jamie

Cant comment on fitting one to a minor but I had a 1.8 black top (8 valve) Cavalier Diplomat a while ago. Fantastic car and the engine was lovely, when it wasn't blowing head gaskets  , but it had clocked up over 180,000 miles and still returned 30 + mpg and was smooth as silk 8) I loved that car, only got rid as the head gasket had gone again :(

The 1.8 and 2L share the same mounts and fittings etc
