Just about to order this Electronic distributor for the moggy van which will hopefully smooth out the miss-fire seem to get from time to time. Comes with red rotor arm, does it still need a rotor arm?

Re: Supa dupa dizzy
Thanks,
I thought these had a lil computer chip jobby instead of the point and rotor. I guess you still need the rotor to send the spark to the cap?

Yup, it's got a "Lil computer chip jobby" instead of the points so no contact pitting or cam wear to have to maintain (fit and forget we call it). It still has a rotor to distribute the sparks to each cylinder in turn though and it comes with the best one. That should be the only part you have to renew every now and again. I’ve got one fitted and not touched it for more than two years
