Has anybody got or seen or has a photo of a Tonneau cover for a Convertible (obviously!)
I am moving my 1964 LHD car to Spain this year and it would be easier than having to erect the hood each time I leave it parked etc.

I have a tonneu on mine , but nothing is original . The back edge of the hood is fixed with "Lift the dot " fasteners and the tonneu fixes to them when the hood is unclipped .

Are these available to purchase by any chance as I'd love to buy one for my tourer.

Thank's everybody. I think I will try my local car trimmer with the pictures.The one on Ebay is a bit tatty and the last colour I wanted was black (sun heat etc)
Budgie...I'll let you know the outcome. If I do get a local company to make one for my car they will then have a pattern.

That looks good. I found the trouble with mine was that, if it rained, a puddle formed in the centre and the water trickled through the zip
Most cars with a factory designed one had a metal hoop which prevents this.
In the end, I found it easiest to either leave the hood down or raise it - even if I didn't bother fitting it properly to the windscreen frame - when the car was parked.

I bought one for my convertible, but bottled out of drilling the dashboard to fit the lift the dot fasteners as that's still the 63 yr old original paint so never used it. Anyway having got the hang of raising and lowering the hood in moments without leaving the drivers seat, its never been too much of a problem (long arms and a nice loose hood frame help!). It would protect the back seat and any contents, luggage etc from the elements when driving though.
