so as i'm sorting my engine bay i removed the rad. I was going to paint it and i started to wire brush the crap off it. And soon realized that if i kept cleaning it it would come up very nicely so i'm going to leave it like that i need to finish it and polish it up. i am just curious what you guys have done with yours, mines from my 1965 traveller by the way.[frame][/frame]

Very nice! I had my rad recored and of course it came back painted gloss black.
I may just strip the tanks back to brass and then use polish and lacquer to protect the finish.
