I cannot set up the carb on my restoration 1000pickup, if there is anybody in the Skipton,North Yorkshire area who could help me I am willing to pay a reasonable price for a replacement if necessary

Better posted in mechanical section I think. What's wrong with the carb? Does the piston rise and fall easily? No air leaks? Air filter clean? Is there a little oil in the damper? How do you know the carb is the problem - is the engine in good health? Points ok? Did this happen suddenly - or has it deteriorated over time ?
