Ello... and Help? or Advice ;)

Post by EYV65 »

Hello, im a new moggie owner (3 weeks now) and im feeling very good about it.... although my little moggie is needing some work.. oh well, dont us girls always need a little work

Anyway, im wanting to sort out the bubbling on the door panel, i have been looking on youtube at some different repair options seeing what is about and available and what looks good. But, i thought i would come and ask your fine fellows and see what your opinions are?

Im thinking that it should be a case of a bit of fibreglass and filler, but procedures, products, videos, images etc would be most helpful :D

Many thanks

We would need to see some pictures please. If that's the worst problem then there's little to worry about!

As above, a few pictures will really help us give some advice. Where is the bubbling? Bottom edge, central. near the glass, etc. If it's in a line about 4 inches up from the bottom then it may have had a repair panel fitted previously. What is the very bottom of the door like (underneath, where there whould be a rubber draught excluder).

Anyway, congratulations on choosing an excellent car, and welcome to the forum. If you come to the National Rally then there will be plenty of people to offer you advice; and you local branch should be very welcoming too.
