Can someone tell me when bumper overriders came in? I obtained information from the FHVCC which said my car was made in 1951,then went to America for a year and returned to the U.K. exactly a year later to the day. She has overriders but I have been told they didn't come in until 1952. Does the FHVCC have their facts wrong (unlikely) or could someone have added them at a later date?

Overriders were first fitted to 4 door cars in April '51.

All - or just De Luxe versions ?

may be the export was the reason for it? i remember some german cars got that too when exported to US
