This will turn out to be a long job, but it's important it is done right!
Underside poor. The only good thing is the brakes freed off to move it.
It will need a lottery fund grant to pay for it, or possibly a museum, or benefactor to be involved.
You might not hear much about it for a while, but I will update when things are moving.

Wonder how much they're spending sponsoring that brain rotting "Britain's got talent" twaddle?
Restoration of John's historic 2dr and the unique Scania 111 KDG 219V & Scammell/MickleoverT34 a fraction of the cost wasted on advertising, marketing and rubbish!

Just an update on the last minor saloon.
I have now received a heritage certificate from Gaydon listing all the details of the build of this car, which confirms that it is the last factory built minor saloon built on the Cowley production line. It confirms all numbers including chassis, body, engine, gearbox, diff and key numbers, plus the delivery date to the London distributor.
I must congratulate the Archivists at Gaydon on the rapid turnaround of the returned certificate too. I didn't expect it back quite so quickly.

Currently on
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk item C760307, primarily to find someone who can finance or rebuild this to the original OE standards and specification. I could only put this in the 'For Sale' section to attract the necessary attention.

Even better news!
I have hopefully now found the ideal home for this unique car, which, to me, is the best possible solution to secure its future. More details to follow shortly.

Good news!
I have now found the ideal home for this unique car 'Amen', which, to me, is the best possible solution to secure its future.
I had a couple of offers of finance from very kind minor enthusiasts, and the possible supply of suitable parts, which were really appreciated. However, a Morris club had been actively seeking this unique car for a few of years, and then lost the scent, until they heard I had got it.
As I have been suffering from migraines and vertigo recently, which make working on any vehicle very difficult at times, I welcomed the opportunity to pass this unique car and its proven history file on to the best home possible.
I thank you for all your interest, offers, history details, and good wishes with this 'Amen' project. It might be a couple of years hence, but I'm sure you will see it around.

W.C.Fields said he never touched water because fish made love in it.
Great result with the car!
