The value of Shopping Locally

Post by Trickydicky »

Out on Sunday on Drive it Day had a problem with the exhaust blowing, investigating its detached itself where it goes into the front of the silencer. New Exhaust time!
Checked online and the usual suppliers have it in stock plus VAT and Postage........
Gave my local motor spares shop a try and he comes up trumps with his supplier having one in stock for £33 inc VAT 8)
So the moral of the story is, try your local motor factors, you may be surprised what Minor parts they can get hold of!

I ordered one locally a few months back and found it had a much smaller silencer which I thought would make it noisier or perhaps I should say, even noisier! It didnt and was also a good fit. :D

Too many Minors so little time.....
