I've just got some spacers, ( half inch) to fit in order partly to move the front tyres a little further from the upper trunion. partly cos I like the look. I have after market minilites. I will need to fit longer wheel nut studs front and rear to ensure there is sufficient purchase for the wheel nuts. They will need to be high tensile too.
Has anyone any idea about suppliers and what length they should be? I guess the standard plus half an inch bearing in mind that I read that the front and rear wheel nuts were of different lengths anyway.

Many thanks BM, Cos its wet and cold and I don't have any disassembled hubs - does anyone know the length of the front wheel studs and the rear wheel studs? many thanks

I have aftermarket MINILITES (7J) and the length of the wheel stud from the hub face (both front and rear) to its outer end is 33mm.
With the Marina hubs fitted to the front I do not need spacers but do need a 5.5mm spacer on the rear to enable the wheel centre to clear the dome of the half-shaft.

Have to say - if a Company supplies wheels for a Minor - then surely to be 'fit for purpose' they should bolt straight on without any need for longer studs and spacers - or - they should supply these with the wheels..... Just a thought!

That may asking the supplier to do too much
There are so many variations even with a 4" PCD and the end-user may increase the number of those variations.

In fairness to the company concerned the Minilites fitted well with standard wheel studs - its me that is wanting to add the spacer to create a safe gap between the tyre and upper trunions - as well as liking the look - hence the extra length needed in the studs ( plus 0.5 inch). If I had a reservation it would be with the tyres fitted, ( by the aftermarket supplier), that leaves precious little clearance to the upper trunions - as a further aside they can rub on the front antiroll bar but only at parking speeds
As les has fitted the spacers with Minilites I wanted to ask if that created any difficulties with suspension travel and the wings...

Oh that's all fine - it was just a thought as to why the tyres would be touching the trunnions.

Interested to know what 'J' your wheels are and the size of the tires.
I had 6J Revolution wheels fitted to my Minor on original front hubs and I never had a problem with the tyres getting anywhere near the trunnions.
Here they are fitted in around 1969.
The rears were 7J - the first 7Js Revolution made apparently.
