Would the Toyota Starlet 14inch PCD100 fit a Morris Minor ? (1957 4-door saloon) ... Is there a Japanese alternative to use as a complete spare wheelset? I think the Starlet only uses a 13 inch up to 155 though - any others ?

The Morris minor has a PCD of 4" (101.6mm).
Whilst the Starlet wheel at 100mm PCD will fit over the studs the wheel nut will not do up correctly putting additional stress on the wheel studs which at best could allow the wheel to come loose and at worst shear the studs resulting in total loss of the wheel.
My recommendation is to find wheels with a true 4" PCD and use compatible wheel studs and nuts.

Just to add - there is NO modern - or even recently modern - wheel that fits a Minor. Old Jensen Healey wheels will fit (good luck finding a set) or Viva/Imp etc also fit - as do Classic Mini wheels - BUT the offset is very wrong and so they will foul the suspension unless you use massive spacers - which is strongly NOT recommended. Some folks convert to Marina hubs which are 3.75" PCD - and then you can use MGF wheels which are cheap and plentiful -mainly because they fit little else....... Please DO NOT try to squeeze on 100mm wheels - that really is a MOST UNSAFE setup.

I located this link .... along with others .. but this particular link is comprehensive and contains a "Leyland" section. If these figures are correct , I am assuming they are - it helps considerably. Any feedback welcome .

The only car on there other than a Minor or Mini with the correct PCD is an MG Midget. They are 13" wheels but there's been a few who have fitted Midget Rostyles to the Minors and they look pretty good with a good hi profile tyre.

Hi everyone, I'm Mark. From Brisbane- Australia.. I own a 1951, 918 side valve, 4 dr saloon.. I am needing help to find out where I can get original or standard rims in good condition.. mine have a slight buckle in the 2 rear wheels.. if original ones aren't available.. what other rims would fit the standard brake drum, which
Have the bolt type fixings to the drum, not the nuts..
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help in this regard..

Hi
I am in Oz also.
You should have no problem finding them on the various used car part sites locally. But as I understand it, the early wheels were prone to cracking in the centres. So be careful when buying.
Have you joined a local Minor club?
Don

Yours are 114.3mm (4.5 inch) PCD on the early cars. Hyundai Lantra, Volvo S40, MG Magnette, Triumph Stag etc use that size. Much easier to find wheels in that PCD but you need to check offset.

Hi Mark.
It is always good to belong to a club.
I have had good reports of the Brisbane Southside Morris Minor Car Club and have one of their branded sweatshirts.
My step daughter lives in Ormeau.
