Old English, Snowberry or Glacier

Having a last minute wobble before ordering paint. I've always been going to paint my 71 Trav Maroon B, because my wife likes the colour (currently Almond Green, originally Teal Blue). I'm a novice at bodywork, though, and I've just read some advice about avoiding dark colours as they show the imperfections. White sounds a more realistic proposition for me, but is there any difference in the flesh between the three whites which have been used? A 71 should be Glacier White, but in photos this looks a bit too.... white. Snowberry was used till 1970, but from photos I like the look of the Old English White. Any views?

Old English is a cream colour, not sure of the difference between Snowberry and Glacier. They sound a bit cold.

If it helps, take a look at my sig pic. Wheels are old English white, grille is Vauxhall Polar White (because I happened to have a spare can left over from Vauxhall Nova days).[frame]

Old English white is a lovely creamy colour. The other two are a rather 'harsh' finish, I think anyway. A very near approximation (to give you a guide) is to mix 50/50 Dulux sample pots of white and magnolia.

Why not paint it in the absolute best colour ever that BMC offered? Not too dark so will forgive the odd imperfection which is a bonus.
Only 2 kinds of folks when it comes to BMC colours. Those who know Limeflower is the most desirable colour and those who suggest otherwise.
Just sayin

I had a snowberry white traveller and really liked it, it should have been glacier white but I also thought it looked too new for it. One of our NI club members has just finished a glacier white traveller and it really looks superb, especailly with the navy seats.
What colour interior have you?

Thanks all, OEW will be the choice if it is to be white, but I am now having second thoughts about Maroon. I think I'll see how bad/good the first few panels look like in primer before ordering the colour.
David, I don't have an interior I want to use, so colour choice is open. If Maroon it would be biscuit - I know this was never a Morris colour, but I like it. IF white I think it would have to be Cherokee Red.
Vast - tempted though I am by your suggestion, I don't think Yorkshire is big enough for two Limeflower Travellers

Very happy with my maroon b trav, still looks great 6 years after the respray. The Cherokee red seats suit it too.
It's all down to taste really. All travelers look stunning if they are loved.
