I recently purchased bridgestone b381 145/80/14 tyres for my black minor through a local tyre supplier. He was able to supply me with 5 at £38 each plus vat (not including fitting, as i can get them fitted where i work). He said that he couldn't repeat it as they are now incredibly hard to find.

I then noticed a few weeks ago that the old Michelins on my grey minor are starting to crack too. So i started searching for more bridgestones. I quickly googled for them not thinking that i could get them at the same price as the last ones. As esm sell them at £60 plus vat each :o . Until i tried this website. To find to my susprise, that they are able to supply them for £38 + vat including free postage to northern ireland :D . So i ordered 5 right away. They arrived before the given date. A very easy and efficient service. Plus cheap :D Though i probably won't fit them for a couple of years.

A good find Andrew, the new Bridgestones on my traveller give a very nice light steering compared to the old verdanstein I had on.

Now I need you to find best prices available for 450x18 crossplys! :D

I don't know that these Bridgestone B381's are that hard to find. I've just bought 5 off from Blackcircles/ATS, and there were no delays, nor comments about rarity. OK, they were a little more expensive, at £55 each, than the OP's £38. But the Blackcircles' price included fitting, valves, balancing, disposal and VAT. So worth the extra tenner, in my book. And still cheaper than ESM's supply-only, pre-VAT price.

Well. All i can tell you is that my local tyre supplier was trying bridgestone direct and they weren't available. So the first time he sourced 5 from 4 different outlets !!!
