My SU Fuel Pump Work Fine But When it rest 3,4 hours or next day when i switch on the pump, it Work TIk TiK Tik - but not come out petrol -at that moment , i remove the petrol pipe from the carburetor then suck the pipe from my mouth till petrol come up to outlet of the pump , then i set it to carburetor - again work fine - why pump like this ? where the problem ? - The pump Su Morris Minor 1000 - 1957

Dirt sticking the valves? Air leak on the pipe from tank to pump?

Mmmmm .. Not petrol come out from the cabuletor so think it not stik -seem to be not aire leak - is it problem of pule pump out put nut assembling ?

Will it pump fuel into a container - and are there air bubbles in the fuel ?

''Yes ''i can see air bubbles when the pump out petrol - i set trancpetant pipe to outlet of the pump so i can see - yes petrol come out with air bubbles

So that means there is an air leak on the suction side .
