any idea where I can get upgraded eye bolts(longer etc)

All you need is a 1/8" washer -maybe 1/4" - or better still a 'spreader plate' of similar thickness. If you need anything more than that - there's a problem with the car's chassis...

Why do you want longer eye bolts? What are you looking to achieve? What ride height is the car?
