Hello
I am new to your forum. I am building a trike using an axle from a Minor 1000
Near to the diff unit is a short flexible brake hose with a threaded end. Can anyone tell me the size and type of thread please
Regards

As far as I know it is 3/8 BSF at the diff end - and 3/8" UNF at the 'loose' end. Probably wise to fit a new one.
EDIT - note I had it wrong way round (brain fade) - now corrected.

The Minor (or Mosquito as it was to be known) was originally designed to be powered by a flat four so there is something rather 'full circle' about you bolting a Goldwing lump to that axle.

So it was!
I had forgotten that. I am a Minor fan, had 5 of them, that's why when I decided to make a trike I chose it.
Only problem may be putting too much power through it, the Minor was only about 40 brake, I think. The trike puts out 80
