I have at last got my Midget engine back from rebuild. It appears to have been slightly modified, ie 1330cc, unleaded, polished ports, MG Metro cam, Omega pistons, balanced etc. I am looking forward to getting it back into my Traveller but I am a bit concerned about whether the 1275 Midget box will make it to the end of the road before it disintegrates as first sounds like a bag of spanners. If I treat it gently aand resist the urge to enter too many traffic light grand prix then it may last a bit longer.
I assume that a 1098 Minor box would be a waste of time so if there is a 1275 box lying around I will gladly take it off your hands
