Well, what do you think? A bit politically correct? BBC combining the correct combination of male, female, ginger, black and white. Just suspect it could be awful, but I'll try the first one expecting the worst.

Il give it a go. I don't have sky so don't get many car programs. Like 5th gear. Last January entered the same event as them called the Exeter Trial. Don't get to watch it much tho.

I remember Sabine trying to get round the Nurburgring in under ten minutes in a Transit - one of the best features they did I reckon

Eddie Jordan is the ONLY one of that squad worth anything - I'm amazed he would lower himself to working with that stupid prat Evans......

A multi-millionaire crash test dummy!
Not a dummy!

Some silly news today of them disrupting a 'wedding' (obviously all staged) with a big silly American car and a 'rally driver' called Block. Anyone ever heard of him? Do they really expect people to watch this nonsense ? Perhaps they are now aiming the programme at the USA market, and the UK market doesn't matter any more??

Ken Block? If so hes a great driver. Iv been watching fifth gear on youtube today. Was impressed as they do abit of everything and its actually related to real people. Top Gear is just an entertainment program these days. Tho i always watched it.

Absolutely - entertainment is what it's all about. But why use a relatively unknown American driver - unless the program is being aimed at USA sales. I'm sure in the UK we would be more impressed with a British driver. Just watched an 'old' Top Gear today (never really had time to watch them before) which involved a REAL wedding - no doubt all pre-arranged, and time-scales etc adjusted - but it made a really good entertaining show. My favourite motoring show these days is Ice Road Truckers - great fun !

Those American trucks are great. I need a bigger garage.

I can't help thinking the BBC have carefully planned the current London business for a bit of publicity. Do a bit of tyre squealing, Top Gear viewers will love that, wheel out an old colonel to complain, makes a change from the usual PC crowd. Then get Evans to make a gushing apology just to show he isn't like that horrid Clarkson.
Top Gear keeps its controversial edge but in the end everybody's happy (Except perhaps the colonel).
