From the listing
"CHASSIS PLATE AND DOCUMENTS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH. PERHAPS THEY WILL BE OF USE TO SOMEONE .GOOD LUCK."
Of use! What "use" could they have other than to ring another vehicle.
I've reported it too, please do the same

It will probably find its way to another vehicle even if removed from eBay, if serious about it the best way would be to buy it and scrap the paperwork. Any takers?

It now says,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This listing was ended by the seller because the item was lost or broken.

I reported it -AND advised the seller it was illegal to sell these items, and told him he would be reported to DVLA.... That was just an hour ago... I guess he took the hint.

Did anyone note chassis number details of this?
I record these as "LBO's" - logbook only.

Chassis number difficult to decipher 100% accurately.
523900 or 623900. Just not clear enough, with possibly other variations too.

Oval plate would dismiss above - either "8" or "9" (?)

Cannot be "5" or "6" as 100% on square alloy vin for plate(?) - "666***" change to M/AT3 - as "6" below this figure, type of vin plate would be wrong.
M/AT3 = 666*** onwards
Confused?

Looks more like an eight than a nine!

So, M/AT3 823900 sound okay?
Common on Oz year prefix Minor's - "6" mistaken for "5"!
Lot more to chassis stamps and stuff than you'd think. 7 digit LCV chassis numbers....

The seller emailed me and apologised saying he had no idea it was illegal to sell the V5 etc... and he had withdrawn the advert.
