Wiring Loom

Hi just a few things,to remove loom of my 1963 saloon,is it best to remove from the inside of car into engine bay,is it possible to buy a new one and where from..Thanks for any help

Yes they are readily available form most minor specialist, you quote your chassis number to make sure its the correct loom and do tell them of any modifications that have been carried out over the years. You can have a loom made up to include any extra wires you need. Disconnect everything under the dash and it will then push out through the bulkhead between the battery box and the regulator.

Thanks David have managed to remove loom,not that bad a job,I bought mine a few months ago,I'd like to have done a total rebuild but time to work on it and the national looming has decided how far it will go.I used to buy and sell Moggys when I was a teenager and even went on honeymoon in my traveller.I'm 60 in february and after doing quite a bit of welding on one a couple of years ago I've now returned to my motoring roots.
