Spark on the coil Nut

Hi last month i have a problem about condenser burning - then i change all parts , Coil ,condenser ,rotor , poinnts - after that i just start my car in the dark , then i see small spark in the nut of coill - distributor wire joint nut of coil - the nut not loose - and the spark not jump here and there only stay on the nut like small dot - what is this ? Is it normal - the condenser and rotor from Distributor docter- coill bosch 12v - point gap is ok as manual - nicely start the car - readings of coil +& - = 3.3 , - & H\T = 8.23

Check your leads are all tight. Iv had this before and that was the problem. Lit up the whole engine bay at night.

As above -must be loose/dirty connection. Clean everything, and smear with vaseline - working it in to the connections.

I clean it today and re set - but i can see it again some time come and go - when i past the speed i can see it properly - what can i do - i see some rubber Boot for cover the coil front - how it is ? it will solution to this ?

It will still be sparking away under the cover. Try a new HT lead to the dizzy.

I had an HT problem for months on an old car, it was like Christmas under the bonnet and sparked everywhere. Ran OK for a while, then a connection just broke down: burnt rotor arm, then coil caps, then connectors. Eventually found to be incorrect dissy cap (30 degrees out!). Unlikely to be that on a Morris, but worth checking carbon brush to rotor arm contact. A resistance there can cause a high voltage potential to take a path of least resistance.....

Hi Again - so today i checked my ignition wires resistant from my multi meter - it was form 200. 1st wire 0.6 - 2nd Wire 0.3 - 3rd wire 79.2 - 4th wire 200 - so i think have a problem of 3rd and 4th wires - i am going to change them

Just change them ALL - including the HT wire from coil to dizzy.
