8" drum/back plates upgrade

Is it difficult to remove the 7" drums and back plates and then fit an 8" upgrade.Do I need a hub puller or is it not necessary to disturbe the hubs.What is the procedure please?

not very much...
you have to remove the hub, otherwise it is not possible to fix the backplate.
Keep in mind that the adjusters and the springs are different to the 7" setup. The cylinders are the same.

You do need to pop the hubs off - but they should just slide off with a good tug - at worst, refit the wheel and wiggle/ tug with that.
