Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to wire up the oil pressure and water temp from senders in the 1098 engine. I am Ok with the Voltmeter. Is there anything out there that I can use.

Does the oil pressure gauge read high enough? From memory the XJ6 runs at 40psi, the Minor at 60psi
The rev counter dependes on whether it is selectable 4/6 cyl.

Don't know from memory will have to dig it out. What about the Water temp sender and if I am lucky the sender for Oil pressure. I don't have the Rev counter, Thanks for the reply.

Well - a Moris (sic) doesn't have either an oil or water 'sender' - so no - the gauges won't work.... You will need to use the parts from the Jag - and any voltage stabilisers that go with them.

Ok.
Thanks all for the info on the MoRRis. The oil gauge can read up to 80. Does anyone know whether the Jag senders are the same thread as the Morris.
Thanks again.

No idea about the senders - is it really worth the hassle? Correct gauges are inexpensive enough on ebay surely.
