Hi and greatings from Finland

I have a classic car restoration shop and I'm working also with Morris Minor 1000
The owner of Minor, bring me body and several boxes of parts..... so I didn't do the dissassembly of it myself.

As you could understand, now I have few parts which I don't know where they belong, so I need recognizing some parts.
I'll be very pleased if Minor owners could help me out.

1 is part o the door top
2 goes on the bulkhead were the bonnet release dar comes through
3 and 6 belong on the front bumper between the bumper valence and the metal bar
4 is the spare wheel clamp that bolts to the boot floor
5 back bumper between the valence and bumper bar

1, possibly air filter ?
2 engine steady bar onto the engine block
3 clamps the seat frame to the flor
4 fits on the end of the bumper iron to cover spacing washers
5 a door hinge spacing shim
6 front suspension tie bar to wish bone
7 possibly clutch mechanism
8 hinge pillar to door check straps

David's got most of it right I reckon but isn't item2 (picture1) the bracket which attaches the steady cable to the gearbox crossmember?

Yep, I think you're right!

The bracket in the picture was too big for bonnet release

I have now more questions;
Where should the horn locate?
What's the route of front direction indicator light wiring?

On a 1959 car, the horn should fit to a bracket mounted on the front inner panel (or radiator mounting panel) on the right hand side.
A 1959 UK model would not have front direction indicators. Cars which did have these, the wiring would follow the route of the headlamp and sidelight wires - through a grommet in the inner wing.

Horn have to be in radiator mounting panel, I'll have to check it. There was no proper holes in the inner panel for horn.

Headlight and direction indicator wires have to use same grommet then (no other holes in the inner panel

Okay, now I have some problems with door glass.

When I lift window up, it stops about 1/2" before it should (gap between frame/window).
If I lift/help it by hand it goes up, very tight.
Seems that the glass moves slightly in the channels (swings)
Channels and all rubber are new

Any suggestions???

Window problems solved, it's only need lubrication and lot of movement back and forth

Now, I need some more help: engine oilstick don't have the stopper
Could someone measure the lenght to end of the oil stick to the stopper. Picture with measure will be great.

Also, missing choke and gas wire attachments to SU carburator, what kind of attachment there should be?

If the car still has a 948 engine fitted the dipstick doesnt have a stopper it goes right into the sump, the later 1098 has a rubber that holds the dipstick.

I think this may be what you need for the throttle

I have problems with brakes, you have to pump pedal two-three times to get good feel to pedal.
I'm 99% sure that there is no air in the system, no leaks. I have adjust the shoes near, but nothing seems to help.
Any suggestion or tips??
btw, should the rear wheel cylinder move in the slot?
Are the Bee Hive Springs necessary (I don't have them)
